MINI GOAT PROMOTIONS 2

The 17th, 18th and 19th of July saw FARM FANTASTIC in its 8th year, it is Australia's biggest city/country Expo with over 700 sites. Kazoo Stud has attended Farm Fantastic for the past 7 years with a site in the "Animal Arena". This year we displayed our miniature goats and miniature horses and were once again run off our feet handing out information sheets and answering enquiries.
The regional Ag schools attend Farm Fantastic each year with their cattle and run judging and handling competitions for their students. This year they approached us to give the students a lesson in judging our miniature goats, we agreed and were surrounded by students eager to learn what to look for when judging the goats. After their lesson we supplied 3 minis for them to judge, they all did quite well (may be a few budding miniature goat judges amongst them) one comment made was that they enjoyed the "hands- on" judging of the goats as opposed to judging the cattle.
Our animals were highly sought after and jostled over by the Ag students to participate in the "Farmyard Race" ( one of our little goats turned out to be a "Caprine Dynamo" winning prizes for her handlers) and "The Grand Animal Parade", both events being run each day of the Expo.
