Until the age of 3 years an animal will be Registered as a Miniature Bred Goat. As a three year old, a Registered Miniature bred Goat is eligible to have an application submitted to upgrade to an Adult Australian Miniature Goat. During this registration process, an animal is allocated a Grade based on the animals parentage and animals 3 Year Height.
Kid Recorded animals reaching 3yrs of age must be height verified and upgraded to Adult status within six months of becoming due or certificate will be revoked. If certificate is revoked, full adult registration fees will then apply. Animals must be height verified again at 4yrs of age (FREE) .
Adult Upgrade discounts only apply to animals that have had 1yr and 2yr heights submitted. (see Fees list)

Applications require one good quality PHOTO with each application.The animal must be clear, side on and preferably with head turned toward camera and must show whole animal including feet. Photos are for Registration Certificate and may be used in the Studbook, so poor quality shots will not be accepted. The animal must be clean, and must look well fed (in good condition).
One current PHOTO must accompany registration application. They will be printed on to the Certificate so the goat's picture must be at least 500 X 500 pixels (5cm X 5cm) in .Jpg or .gif format.
Goats are not to have adornments that impede the overall image of the goat. Photos should be on the goat to be registered only. All photos must be recent. If posting printed photos, please write the goat's name on the back of them. Any application for registration that is sent in with an incorrect photo will be returned and a further reprocessing fee may be applied. |

Printed photos must have the animals name printed on the back and should be attached to the correct application. Emailed photos should be correctly named OR sent, one per email with name of goat in subject line.
There are two areas an Animal must conform to for 3yr Adult Registration, Height Verification and Grading.
1. HEIGHT REQUIREMENT
Animals MUST meet height requirements for the Grade they are applying for to be allocated that Grade. If they do not meet the requirements for the Grade applied for, they are registered into the next lower Grade they do meet the Height requirements for.
2. ALLOCATION OF GRADE
The final Part of an animals 3 year Adult upgrade consists of Classification of a Grade. This is based on the animals Sire and Dams Grade as well as your animals 3Yr height.
The outcome of your application will depend on which requirements your animal meets.
Your animal may also be alocated an ear type by the registrar.

3yr old Bucks or Wethers (Grade A & Purebred) are to be measured by or in the presence of a Qualified Veterinarian or Foundation Breeder (other than the owner).
Adult Bucks and Adult Wethers 53.3cm and under Adult Does 46cm and under are to be height verified by or in the presence of a Qualified Veterinarian to be considered for registration (VET FORM).
ALLOCATION OF GRADE - Your Goat will be graded on their parentage.
