A Service Certificate is to be completed by the buck owner prior to transferring a pregnant Doe. A Service certificate completed by the owner of the buck must also be submitted with all Kid registrations where the buck is not owned by the person registering.
The Pedigree of the buck will not be listed on the Registration Certificate without a signed service certificate being attached to the registration application if the Breeder is NOT the owner of the REGISTERED Australian Miniature Buck (sire of kids), or where *DNA proof can be provided. This is in place to prevent mistaken or false information being furnished to the Registry and to ensure that accurate records are kept. Buck Services


If You Own The Buck
Service certificates are not required for breeders using their own buck over their own does,.

Buck At Stud
Breeders are required to provide a completed service certificate to the doe owner once a service contract has been completed.

Sale Of Pregnant Doe.
Breeders selling a pregnant doe are required to provide a completed service certificate for the doe owner at the time of sale.

* Bucks are required to be Registered / Recorded Australian Miniature Bucks.

 

Buck On Lease

The lessee of the buck is responsible for recording the bucks services whilst under lease to them. For the period of the lease, the buck is treated in the same manner as if the buck is owned by them i.e. no service certificate/s required for any of their own does covered during the period the buck is leased to them however,
- If the lessee of the buck accepts outside does for service during this time, they will be required to complete a Service Certificate for those services, as above.
- If the lessee sells any does that are in kid to the leased buck, a Service Certificate must be supplied with the doe at the time of sale, as above.
- The lessee of the buck will need to complete a MGBA Lease Form and have it SIGNED BY THE OWNER OF THE BUCK (lessor) or both parties, one for the Lessee and one for the Lessor confirming the lease detail to the Registry. A copy of any private Lease Agreements must be given to the registry if there is any specifications the registry should be made aware of regarding offspring or Registrations. The Lease form should be sent to the MGBA prior to kids being born. Termination date of the lease must be given to the MGBA to ensure that registry records are kept accurate.

- The Lessee must complete a Buck Return every six months until the lease is terminated. The form is to be lodged with the MGBA registry. All does serviced by the leased buck must be listed and a copy of this form will be available to the Owner of the buck upon request.
