JUDGES
COMMENTS ON DAY
The Judge, Mr Basil Rogers, stated that he was very impressed
with how clean and well groomed the animals were on the
day. He said that it was a credit to the Owners. The Judge
said that it was a very good turn up and a credit to the
Miniature Goat breeders. Mr Basil Rogers accepted the
beautiful gift pack of mini goat soaps and a lovely bunch
of flowers kindly donated by Patricia Smith.
CHIEF
STEWARDS COMMENTS
Animals were "checked in" and measured, only
one animal was over "show height" and excluded
from competing on the day. Thanks to Greenbank Show Society
for providing us with our ribbons and for allocating such
a large site where spectators could watch the judging
and come up for pats and cuddles after classes. Thank
you for supplying the enclosures too, they worked very
well. Thank you to Patricia Smith, Steve Groth, Margaret
Collins, Ross & Simone O'Brien and Shirley Little
for their help setting up our area and to Simone for her
beautiful photography work on the day.
Sue Ludwig thanked the Judge for judging this show. It
was a real honor to have another highly accredited and
greatly respected Dairy Goat Judge, judge our miniature
goat classes for us. Mr Basil Rogers familiarized himself
with Miniature Goat Breed Standards and judged our animals
to miniature goat standards. The Judge offered invaluable
advice throughout the exhibition, from conformation to
select for, faults to be aware of, grooming tips, what
he was looking for in group classes and was very encouraging
with the junior handlers. Once again it was great to see
such beautiful, well presented animals, all fantastic
representatives for their Owners and Breeders.
We would like to thank Patricia Smith for all her time
helping other members with animal preparation and show
organization prior to the show and for all her help handling,
stewarding, organizing next classes and for all the extra
running around she has done for the show especially since
she can not bring her own animals and participate.
We would like to thank the AMGR & Yattarna Stud for
their donations for prizes for the show too. CONGRATULATIONS
to all who attended.

animals will be "signed in", "measured
in" and photographed. All Champion, Reserve &
Supreme animals will be required to stand for photographs
immediately after Champion, Reserve & Supreme has
been awarded to prevent extra handling/time being needed

We had a fantastic response from the public again and
lots of positive comments on how beautiful, friendly and
immaculately clean our animals were.
