This show is a first for the Western District of Victoria. The exhibitors and steward would like to sincerely thank Mrs. Sue Ludwig, (a qualified Miniature Goat Judge) firstly for travelling all the way from Qld and secondly for having the drive and stamina to orchestrate miniature goat shows in the first place. Sue's comments and decisions were well received by all and exhibitors remarked that they had learnt a lot through her critique.
The Port Fairy Show Society are to be commended for the good old fashioned country show they put on each year, one of our favourites. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of it, hopefully we will be for years to come. The weather was hot and we all suffered a bit, but the day was a huge success. The crowds were 3 and 4 deep at times and at one stage I heard people having bets over which goat was going to win.
Thanks to all the sponsors once again, the show wouldn't be go on without you.
